The Verkhovna Rada can not cancel its previous resolution on the issues concerning either appointment or dismissal of personnel. Oleksandr Lavrynovych, First Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, made the above-mentioned statement in the live broadcast of Channel 5, commenting on the initiative of certain political forces to revise the parliamentary resolution on dismissal of Volodymyr Ohryzko from the post of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. "The Verkhovna Rada can appoint Volodymyr Ohryzko again, provided the President of Ukraine makes a submission and the political majority endorses the proposal", - he stated.
The First Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine believes that the voting for dismissal of Volodymyr Ohryzko confirms the absence of the coalition at The Verkhovna Rada.
The First Vice-Chairman commented on the failure of the Parliament to uphold amendments to the pension legislation, as demanded by the IMF for the issue of the second tranche of the loan to Ukraine. Thus, he stated: "It was required to reduce the rate of pensions in order to balance the budget of the Pension Fund under the conditions of present-day recession in Ukraine. The recession of Ukrainian origin". However, the First Vice-Chairman is convinced that "one can not settle the said matters at the expense of the most underprivileged groups of population".
